Common Names: St. John’s Wort, Hypericum Berries
With medium-sized oblong berries, burgundy hypericum, also known as St. John’s Wort, really adds a splash of rich color to your DIY floral arrangements. Its warm color is a perfect complement to a centerpiece build with autumn in mind, or one featuring burgundy gerbera daisies. Small, green leaves surround each colorful berry, with larger leaves branching off the stem. Burgundy hypericum features 12-14 berries per stem. Hypericum berries will vary in color throughout the growing season. Pair them with like-colored or different-colored flowers like roses and lilies, or let them stand out alone with some greens.
